The Tendernob Radioshow

The Producer’s Why:

Growing up Queer in the suburbs of Connecticut, my “community” weren’t always the people around me. I discovered connection and a social warm hug through the stories I heard over the radio. I felt less alone thinking someone was out there sharing something vulnerable, like a pocket of humanity keeping me warm. Since departing Connecticut, I keep with me that feeling of comfort those radio shows provided me on those snowy, Wintery nights, and fertilize the soil of which my work grows from now, this project included, with the same integrity of those loving values I felt so strongly back then.

The Tendernob Radioshow, a soup-for-the-soul radio program, awaits you and is based on where I live now, in the Queer capital of the West Coast of the USA, the city and it’s people I proudly stand alongside and belong within, the Castro in San Francisco.
